Join the Reservation List to Get an early pick!

Our adorable Bernedoodle puppies go quick. The best way to increase your chances of taking home the perfect match is to join the reservation list.

Joining the reservation list by placing a $500 deposit (50% refundable at any time) gives you a priority pick from future litters, and from puppies already born but not yet old enough to be adopted. (More details below)

By signing up, you’re under no obligation to adopt a puppy right away and you can stay on the list for as long as you like. We have a lot of people that join the waitlist planning to wait a few years to get a puppy.  Because of that we usually have puppies available sooner for people who want a puppy ASAP.

So be sure to sign up! The earlier you’re on the list, the sooner you get to pick your perfect puppy!

Here’s How the Reservation List Works

  1. Join the List

Once you place your deposit, your name is added to the master reservation list on a “first come, first pick” basis .

    Deposit and Refund Guidelines

Reservation list deposits are 50% refundable and can be refunded at any time, for any reason. In the event that you change your mind, you will be refunded $250 of your initial $500 deposit. Once you pick a puppy, deposits become non-refundable. Reservations are honored in order of deposits placed. If you would like to be on more than one list (Standard, Mini, Micro), you will need to place separate deposits for each list.

  2. New Puppies Are Born!

When puppies are born, we update the website and add them to our puppies pages with a “starting the selection process” date. We post photos of the puppies when they are several days old, at 3 weeks, and then again at 5 weeks.

  3. Decide to Pick or Opt Out

After the puppies are on the website you will receive a text from us to see if you’re interested in picking from the litter. (If you choose to be a part of the selection process but the puppies you were interested in get picked by someone else ahead of you before it's your turn to pick, you can then still choose to opt out and wait for a future litter.) You may opt out of as many litters as you like and will not lose your spot on the reservation list.

  4. Selection process strarts

At five weeks old, we will let you know that we are starting the selection process for the litter. To help you choose the right puppy, we will go through multiple things including personality, size, coat type/color, etc. We will send pictures and videos, and can set up a FaceTime call. If you would like to see the puppies in person, you’ll need to visit the puppies prior to the selection process (unless you can come on very short notice when it’s your time to pick). This helps ensure we are able to move through the list and get our puppies loving homes.

    Attention

Walnut Valley Puppies reserves the right to hold back any puppy from any litter before the selection process starts.

  5. Pick Your Perfect Puppy!

When it's your turn to pick, we will contact you via text or phone call. (Selection priority is determined based on your position on the master list, following a first-come, first-served basis.) At that point, you can select a puppy or pass. If you pass, you’ll still be on the master reservation list for future litters and will have a higher pick placement moving forward.

Annual Litter Goals and Wait Times

At Walnut Valley Puppies our goal is to provide Bernedoodle puppies with good temperaments, great looks, and in great health.

Below you’ll find our general breeding goals and wait times. Note that these numbers can vary significantly as we rely on heat cycles and dam body mass index to determine the health of our dams before breeding. Additionally, there are many variables in our puppy life and there are no guarantees on litter size or whether or not healthy dams will have puppies.
